Hi, I'm Lucy. I need a pair of shoes, so that I can go to school. My Dad makes $14 a month and cannot afford to buy me a pair. I cannot get to school without shoes and I need to go to school. I dream of changing my family. My Mom died, so I rely on others around me to learn, but they didn't go to school either. I wish that we could all learn how to read and write. I dream of running my own trade one day, or maybe I will be a teacher. I want to make a difference, but it's hard when even if I went to school, I wouldn't have enough food in my body to help me think straight. I dream of change. I dream of having clean water and food to eat and I dream of learning. I know that I was put on the sponsor list, so that I can do all of these things, but I've been waiting, and no-one has chosen me. If you can hear me, please choose me. I need you. My village needs you.

THEY ARE AWARE THAT THEY ARE WAITING ON A SPONSOR. IMAGINE EVERY NIGHT GOING TO BED WONDERING IF SOMEONE WAS GOING TO CHOOSE YOU THE NEXT DAY? CHOOSE YOU TO BE FED, EDUCATED, AND LOVED? I HAVE JOINED UP WITH CHILD FUND INTERNATIONAL TO FIND SPONSORS FOR 60 CHILDREN. I AM WORKING WITH THEIR ARTIST PROGRAM SO THAT I CAN RECORD MY MUSIC AND SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD. MY DREAM IS TO GO ON TOUR AND TAKE HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF NAMES WITH ME ON TOUR. I WANT TO BE THE VOICE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NONE. WHY STOP AT 60 WHEN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN WAITING TO BE SPONSORED? I KNOW IT'S A SACRIFICE, I DO. $33 A MONTH COULD BE VERY SIGNIFICANT FOR YOU, LIKE IT IS ME, OR IT COULD JUST MEAN A COUPLE EXTRA COFFEE'S A MONTH. I REALLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SEARCH YOUR HEART TO SEE IF YOU CAN FIND SPACE IN YOUR LIFE AND BUDGET TO LOVE ON ONE OF THESE SWEET FACES. PLEASE SHARE WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS.
